I'm getting the same error too. In logcat, I see it says "11-17 16:24:30.138 V/Unity (8356): Failed to read assets/bin/Data/unity_app_guid". I tried to delete the file from APK but still error

    Unity version 2021.3.9f1

We are noticing this issue on Samsung Knox protected phones across all apps made with Unity. Unity apps leave behind two folders: [com.companyname.app]/files/il2cpp and [com.companyname.app]/files/Unity, which cannot be deleted. This leads to a situation where a factory-reset phone will initially install the app but any subsequent updates or installs will fail with this error message. Non-Unity apps do not seem to have this issue. We believe it may be related to the Knox security setting that disallows "User Deletion".

Hello, our team is currently facing this problem on Unity 2020.3.34. Device is Vivo 1906 (Android 11); and Realme C11 (2021, Android 11).

    Anyone still having similar issues?

For everyone who still have this issue. I have created a post with description of the bug. Let's try to turn Unity attention on it:

Will the fix be backported to at least 2021.2.x?

I hope it will be fixed asap... We simply can't update our game because of this issue.
