[Android] InputText makes webcam update texture slow
Steps to reproduce:
1) Download attached project 'TestWebCamTexture.zip' and open in Unity.
2) Open scene 'main'.
3) Build and run project on a device.
4) Enter some random text in to text field and press Start.
5) Check camera's view (rotate/move/shake phone and see if its receiving lag or not).
6) Repeat this step more than 5 times and you will start notice that camera receives lag.
Reproduced with :5.4.0b21, 5.4.0p4, 5.5.0b1
Not reproduced with: 5.3.6p3
Fixed in: 2017.1.0a1

Who's closing these issues before the community verifies they are fixed? Come on Unity this is still a problem it was reported, (and a work around fix offered) over a year ago... The performance hit is SIGNIFICANT we need you to fix this please.

Still broken on 2017.2.0f3
Using the built-in Vuforia in combination with 4 input fields. As soon as i change one field the Vuforia camera view starts lagging.

Is it fixed in unity 2017.1.1? cause l'm using unity 2017.1.0f3 and It's not fixed.

This issue still happens in Unity 5.6.0f3. Can Unity update us in this issue? It is quite game breaking and I've seen a lot of people complain about this but no solutions, work arounds, or fixes so far.

This still happens in 5.6.2.
Using Vuforia + Native popups on Android. Have not tried with text input.
