"Analytics could not log project build event" error when the Player is built
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached project “AnalyticsError”
2. Build the project (File > Build Settings, then in Build Settings window select Build)
3. Observe the Console
Expected result: No errors in the Console
Actual result: “Analytics could not log project build event” error is printed in the Console
Reproducible with: 2023.1.0a22, 2023.1.2f1, 2023.2.0a21
Not reproducible with: 2021.3.28f1, 2022.3.4f1, 2023.1.0a21
Reproducible on: Windows 10
Not reproducible on: Intel MacOS 13.4
Notes:
Reproduces with the default VFX package
The "custom package" is just the VFX package with a Debug.Log in the VFXAnalytics.OnPostprocessBuild to prints the assets path
