Selection of asset is lost when creating assets when AssetDatabase calls on “AssetPostprocessor.OnPostprocessAllAssets”

How to reproduce:
1. Open the user’s attached “postprocessor-deselect.zip” project
2. In the Project window, select “Test.prefab”
3. In the Inspector window, add the “MyScript” Component
4. Observe the Project window

Expected result: “Test.prefab” is selected
Actual result: “Test.prefab” is deselected

Reproducible with: 2021.3.34f1
Could not test with: 2022.3.19f1, 2023.2.8f1, 2023.3.0b4 (a new asset was not created)

Reproduced on: macOS 14.2.1 (Intel)
Not reproducible on: No other environment tested

Note: also reproducible if removing “MyScript” Component
