Same problem, same error "unity trying to reload asset from disk that is not stored on disk". I hope it gets fixed soon.

same issue, using Unity 5.2.1, 5.3.0f4, and 5.3.1.
This will switch up random textures, including shifting of terrain textures (using RTP)

Same here, in PC standalone only, Windows 7 laptop.
When changing the texture quality level, whatever it is (quarter, half, full...).
Error in console:
"unity trying to reload asset from disk that is not stored on disk".
Plus texture are randomly totally messed up: the sprite of the UI menu button get replaced by the background texture, or full white color...

i have the same problem(when change quality level - not change texture level )
