Crash on mono_jit_runtime_invoke when updating to Collections 1.2.4 and closing the Editor

Reproduction steps:
1. Open the user’s attached project
2. Open the Package Manager window and select the “Collections“ package
3. Update the package to version 1.2.4
4. Close the Editor

Expected result: The Editor closes without crashing
Actual result: The Editor crashes

Reproducible with: 1.2.4 (2022.2.0a16, 2022.2.0f1)
Not reproducible with: 1.2.4 (2021.3.16f1, 2022.2.0a15, 2022.2.1f1, 2023.1.0a24), 2.1.0-pre.6 (2022.2.0f1)
Could not test with: 2020.3.43f1 - Collections 1.2.4 does not compile

Reproduced on: Windows 10 Pro

Note: The regression happend in the Editor versions, not the package versions
