Unable to connect an existing project to Unity Version Control source control provider
Steps to reproduce:
- Open Unity Hub
- Create a new project with no source control
- In Unity Hub, expand the details section of the project and press "Connect to source control"
- Select the 'Unity Version Control' provider
- Press "Connect"
- Observe the Unity Hub
Actual results: "Failed to create Unity Version Control workspace." error is thrown
Expected results: Project is successfully connected to a Unity Version Control workspace
Reproducible with versions: 3.17.2
Tested on (OS): Windows 11 Pro (25H2)
Notes:
- In some cases, even new projects cannot be created with the source control provider set to UVC (the reason is unknwon)
