Issue ID
UUM-141901
Regression
No
Sub-asset UI does not refresh when undoing Renderer Feature add or remove actions in a URP Renderer asset
Steps to reproduce:
- Create a new 3D URP project
- In the Project window, select the "PC_Renderer" asset (Assets > Settings)
- Expand the sub-asset section in the "PC_Renderer"
- In the Inspector, add any Renderer Feature (e.g. Render Objects)
- Observe an additional sub-asset appears
- Press Ctrl+Z to undo
- Observe the sub-assets
Actual results: Undoing the addition or removal of a Renderer Feature continues to show stale sub-asset data until the asset is manually refreshed or saved (Ctrl+S shortcut also refreshes correctly)
Expected results: Undoing the addition or removal of a Renderer Feature should immediately refresh and display the correct sub-asset state
Reproducible with versions: 2023.1.0a4, 6000.0.75f1, 6000.3.15f1, 6000.4.7f1, 6000.5.0a8, 6000.6.0a5
Tested on (OS): Windows 11
Notes:
- Before UUM-139513 the sub-assets would not appear right away after adding them. After the fix the visual state is correct both when adding and removing the Renderer Feature, but not when performing Undo
- Reimporting the asset additionally shows "Importer(NativeFormatImporter) generated inconsistent result for asset(guid:f288ae1f4751b564a96ac7587541f7a2) "Assets/Settings/PC_Renderer.asset"" warning
