New Hierarchy window Column separator can be dragged outside the width of the panel

Hierarchy V2

-

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create and open a new project
  2. Enable the new Hierarchy in Edit > Preferences > General > Use new Hierarchy window
  3. Drag the separator between the visibility and pickability icons to the right completely to the edge of the screen
  4. Observe the Hierarchy window

Actual results: The column separator goes beyond the right edge of the Hierarchy window, and a horizontal scrollbar appears

Expected results: The column separator sticks to the right side of the Hierarchy window without creating an unnecessary horizontal scrollbar

Reproducible with versions: 6000.3.0a6, 6000.3.16f1, 6000.4.8f1, 6000.5.0b9, 6000.6.0a5

Can’t test with versions: 6000.0.75f1 (No new Hierarchy window)

Tested on (OS): Windows 11 Pro (25H2)

Workaround: Use "Resize to fit" option from the Hierarchy context menu

Notes:

  • Reproducible with any other vertical separator in the Hierarchy window
