[HDRP] Unity freezes when the Scene Camera is looking at Local Volumetric Fog
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open the attached project “FreezeIssue”
2. Open scene Scenes/Test/Fog
3. Rotate Scene camera to look at the Local Volumetric Fog
Expected result: Unity doesn’t freeze
Actual result: Unity freezes for a few seconds and becomes unusable
Reproducible with: 2023.1.0a25 2023.1.11f1, 2023.2.0a23, 2023.2.0b7
Not reproducible with: 2021.3.30f1, 2022.3.8f1, 2023.1.0a24, 2023.3.0a3
Fixed in: 2023.3.0a2
Reproducible on: macOS 13.4.1 (Intel)
Not reproducible on: macOS 13.4.1 (M1 Max), Windows 10
Note: On 2021.3.30f1 Editor doesn’t freeze, but the performance is greatly impacted
