Entities Systems window search returns values with different enabled/disabled states when repeatedly searching by the same keyword

Core Runtime

-

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a new project
  2. Install the Entities package
  3. Add a SubScene Script to an Empty GameObject
  4. Open the Window > Entities > Systems window
  5. Press the plus in the search bar and add a "Systems" filter to the search
  6. Write "Entity" in the search bar
  7. Delete the string and repeat steps 6-7
  8. Observe the search results

Actual results: The resulting systems change their enabled/disabled state with every search

Expected results: The search results do not change

Reproducible with versions: 6.5.0 (6000.5.0b4, 6000.6.0a3)

Couldn't test with versions: 1.2.4 (6000.0.22f1), 1.4.5 (6000.0.73f1, 6000.3.13f1), 6.4.0 (6000.4.3f1) (No "Systems" filter)

Tested on (OS): Windows 11 Pro (25H2)

Notes:

  • Not reproducible if no filter is applied to the search
  • Not reproducible if the "Show Full Player Loop" is enabled
  • If by default none of the systems are disabled, some might have to be disabled before step 6
  • Though the issue is likely visual, the severity of it raises some concern, as you cannot trust the resulting data
