Crash on MergeObjectCollection when repeatedly selecting a Prefab Asset in the Project Browser
How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached “IN-141692“ project
2. In the Project Browser, navigate to the Decorations folder (Assets > Folder1 > Content > Prefabs > Decorations)
3. Click on the “!Test“ Prefab Asset multiple times in quick succession
4. Observe the crash
Reproducible with: 2023.1.0a3, 6000.0.75f1, 6000.3.15f1, 6000.4.7f1, 6000.5.0b8, 6000.6.0a5
Not reproducible with: 2023.1.0a2
Reproducible on: Windows 11
Not reproducible on: No other environments tested
Notes:
- Reproduction is inconsistent between Editor versions (The prefab causing the crash in one version may not cause a crash in another, but another prefab will)
- Issue may be caused by prefab state
- Reimporting assets does not fix the issue
- Crashes within 5 to 10 rapid clicks
