ArgumentExceptions are thrown when an exclamation mark is written as the first character in the search window
Steps to reproduce:
- Create and open a new project
- Open Window -> Search -> New window
- Write an exclamation mark ('!') in the search bar
- Observe the Console
Actual results: "ArgumentException: Index out of string range
Parameter name: start" is thrown 4 times
Expected results: No error is thrown
Reproducible with versions: 2023.1.0a10, 6000.0.73f1, 6000.3.14f1, 6000.4.6f1, 6000.5.0b6, 6000.6.0a4
Tested on (OS): Windows 11 Pro (25H2)
Notes:
- Likely not reproducible with any other key on the keyboard
