Regression
No
Animation name field does not truncate long names in Animation window
Steps to reproduce:
- Create a new project
- Select any object in the "Hierarchy" window
- Go to "Window -> Animation -> Animation"
- Click the "Create" button
- Enter a longer animation title (for example, "NewAnimationNewAnimationNewAnimation.anim") and click "Save"
- Observe Animation dropdown
Actual results: The animation name field displays the full long name without truncation, causing it to overflow or disrupt the layout
Expected results: Long animation names should be truncated within the field (e.g., with ellipsis “…”) to fit the available space
Reproducible with versions: 6000.3.13f1, 6000.4.5f1, 6000.5.0b6, 6000.6.0a4
Tested on (OS): macOS - Tahoe 26.4.1
