[Android] Location app crashes due to error 'jstring has wrong type: android.location.Location'

How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached project
2. Build and Run Test scene on Android device (it has only one line Input.location.Start() in script)
3. When app launches, select "Allow" in the permission dialog
4. App will start and location service will start to initialize
5. Notice that app will crash in several second after beginning of location init

Reproducible: 5.5.0f1, 5.5.0f3, 5.6.0a5
Not reproducible: 5.5.0b11

Issue is not device specific

    We are completely dead in the water. We can't continue until this is fixed. I should have never upgraded without a backup. Now we are loosing money every day until this is fixed. I would really appreciate a fix. Kind regards.

    I have the same problem, Using 5.5.0f1. And it is stalling our release.

    Kindly let us know the ETA, so that we can plan accordingly.

    Same issue here... and no way to rollback to 5.4 because scenes screwed up after downgrade :(

    Unity guys! Please do fix it or give us at least workaround. We can't move further :( Spending time for fix scenes for downgrade is the last thing we want to do.

    Would love a fix as soon as possible! My app crashes on load, but if I keep opening it - it eventually gathers my gps data and works, but the app crash on load is a heavy deterrent...

    In my app, I only run the location service until I get a valid position, then stop it. But it is frequently re-initialized, and after about the 10th init or so, I got this crash. 5.5.0f3.
