Animation event fires twice when controller is set by script
Steps to reproduce:
1) open users attached project
2) play the scene
3) press 'A' button
Expected: 4 logs are printed into console
Actual: 5 logs printed
note: if you are unable to reproduce this in first try, press A again
Reproduced: 5.4.0b19, 5.3.5p1
Not reproducible: 5.2.4f1, 5.3.0f4
